Who are the workshops for?
These workshops are for any TAFE staff or teachers who want to: ·explore TaLe to find free digital learning resources ·discover how TaLe works as a gateway to resource collections around Australia ·learn how to download and get the most out of the resources.
How do I attend?
There are three workshops over three weeks. Each workshop runs first on Tuesday afternoon and is then repeated at Thursday lunchtime. Each session will run for less than an hour and you will be able to participate from your own computer using Adobe Connect web conferencing. You don’t need any experience using Adobe Connect, just a good net connection on your computer and some headphones or speakers to listen. No registration is required – workshops are open to everyone!
Workshop1: Introduction to TaLe Topics include: ·Recent Improvements to TaLe ·Searching with TaLe ·Saving your searches ·Forums, News and Events
Session 1: Tuesday March 24th 4:30pm – 5:30 pm Session 2: Thursday March 26th 12pm - 1pm
Workshop 2: Gathering resources using TaLe and other collections Topics include: ·TaLe and the LRR ·Exploring other resource collections ·Australian and international educational resources

Workshop 3: Working with TaLe resources Topics include: ·Working with ZIP files ·Building a collection of resources ·Sharing your collection
